ALTHOUGH he thought of himself as a Welsh Italian Stallion and took the stage name Ricky Lavazza, this popular singer is a bit of a pussycat.

He is a gentle family man who has built up a large following along the Costa del Sol with his presentation of the music of some of the world’s most popular singing artists including Tom Jones.

Not a tribute, not an imitator but someone who loves singing and currently finds himself in demand whilst performing almost every night of the week with some of his staunchest fans following him on a regular basis.

His absolute favourite artist is Elvis and he will be performing a special tribute to the King at the Moonlight Cabaret Lounge in Benalmadena next Wednesday on the 40th Anniversary of his death backed by female duo Mills and Boone.

Tickets for the performance of Elvis songs but with a Ricky take on them, cost just €15 from the Sunset Beach Hotel Leisure Desk, online at lava-productions.rocks or by calling 695 887 366.

Prior to the special gig, Ricky took time out from his busy schedule to share some personal information with RTN.
