The most expensive house in Spain is in the Valencia community

ONE of the most expensive houses in Spain is found in the Valencia community.

Situated in Denia, this property consisting of 1,600 square metres is worth €9.5m and is high up among the overall highest value exclusive homes in the country.

Topping the list in the whole country is an Italian-style mansion located in the bay of Alcudia (Mallorca) and valued at €57.5m. It has a total of eight rooms among its more than 3,500 square metres and would attract a monthly mortgage payment of €147,539.

Runner-up is a luxury villa in Marbella consisting of a main house with 10 bedrooms, a guest house with seven other bedrooms and a second space reserved for guests with another four bedrooms.  Found in 4,000 square metres, it’s valued at €27m.

The most expensive property in the capital of Madrid is valued at a mere €17m and topping the list in the Murcia region is a property in Molina de Segura lying in 745 square metres and worth €7.5m.
