Three youths arrested over burglary spree

Alora: Two arrested for several thefts.

THE GUARDIA CIVIL have arrested two young people, aged 19, and another, aged under-18, for several thefts in Alora.

Police started investigations under Operation Dilamar after receiving complaints of burglaries from businesses in the area, including several banks, where the group attempted to force their way into cash machines, although they only succeeded in damaging them.

Following their inquiries, officers located the three, arresting them for six aggravated burglaries, five of which were attempted robberies, as well as burglary from several businesses.  Police also hold the group responsible for a car theft from a warehouse, and have managed to recover the vehicle.
