WITH its summer break now over, its ‘back to normal’ for U3A Marina Baixa and its groups.

The association boasts a variety of groups, some meeting weekly and others meeting monthly:

Weekly: Spanish Language, Intermediate Bridge, Golfing Group, Guitar Lessons, Chaps, Chatter and Coffee, Calligraphy, Crafts and Petanca.

Monthly:  Watercolour Painting, Writers Group, Ten-pin Bowling, Picnic Group, Classical Music, Café Philo, Spanish Culture, Dining Out, Sunday Strollers and Solo Amigos.

The association also has an on-demand Members Assistance Group.

U3A Marina Baixa holds its general meetings on the fourth Monday of each month in the auditorium at the Casa de Cultura, Alfaz del Pi. Doors open at 10.00am and the registration desk closes at 10.50am for a prompt 11.00 am start.

The next meeting will be held on Monday September 25.
