BLUE SQUARE REAL ESTATE (Blue Square) specialises in selling property internationally and providing clients with exceptional service in over 12 languages.
Managing Director Stuart Pratt describes Blue Square as an “international company for international clients.”
The company has two offices in Javea and Moraira on the Costa Blanca North and they are opening their third – in Calpe – this Saturday September 30.
The Calpe office will be Blue Square’s 14th office worldwide and its fourth here in Spain.
The company sell properties from Oliva down to Altea on the Costa Blanca North and from Gran Alicante down to Los Alcazares on the Costa Blanca South.
When asked how the multilingualism of Blue Square’s agents sets the company apart in the competitive industry that is selling property in Spain, Stuart said:
“Many estate agents here in Spain tailor their services to one nationality of buyers – the English agents attract the English buyers; the Dutch agents attract the Dutch buyers and so forth.
“At Blue Square, when a potential buyer gets in touch with us, they will deal with an agent in their own language. We understand that as a foreigner wishing to buy on the Costa Blanca, the purchasing process may be different than what a buyer is used to so we like to make things as simple as possible.
“The multilingualism of our agents also means that vendors’ properties are being seen by the entire buying pool, not just one nationality”.
When a vendor puts their property on the market with Blue Square, it is advertised locally and globally – both online and through the company’s network of offices.
Blue Square offer a 4 per cent fee on an exclusivity basis. Otherwise, their standard multi-agency fee is 5 per cent.
Blue Square can guide both their buyers and their vendors through the entire purchase/ sale process – the company boast a host of services that clients can pick and choose from depending on their requirements. Blue Square can recommend trusted, independent:
- Currency services
- Legal services
- Mortgage services
The company also recently launched Blue Square Aftersales which means not only do Blue Square buyers and vendors receive first class customer experience during the purchase/ sale process, but afterwards as well – the company are on hand to arrange everything from furniture removal/ delivery to setting up utilities.
RTN asked Stuart about his background in real estate:
“Well, where do I start? I started my working life as a Chartered Surveyor in Scotland after graduating from Edinburgh University with honours in Estate Management.
“I then worked as a Commercial Director for one of the largest realtors in Spain before the recession hit and I moved into residential development in Italy and North Africa.
Some years later I moved into property development in France, where I soon identified a gap in the market for an international estate agent – that was where Blue Square Real Estate was born seven years ago. We opened 10 offices in France before we moved to Spain two and a half years ago.”
Blue Square plan on opening another office on the Costa Blanca North and expanding into the Costa del Sol and the Balearics next year. The company are also opening an office in Ibiza in November this year.
The Grand Opening of Blue Square’s Calpe office will start at 7.00pm on Saturday and Stuart and the team invite all residents, neighbours, families and friends to come and say hello and join them in enjoying some tapas.
