Everyone’s favourite 1980’s songs

TWO West End producers Vikki Holland-Bowyer and Greg Stevenson are visiting the Costa del Sol to discuss bringing their Abba Reunion and Carpenters shows to Spain.

This duo is responsible for the 80’s Mania show which has been touring the UK for nine years and pays tribute to no less than 28 different artists with Vicki and Greg being supported by an ensemble of musicians and dancers.

As voice impersonators, the pair front the show, singing in the style of many of the artists who found fame in the 1980s with Vikki singing some of the greatest hits from such artists as Cyndi Lauper, Alison Moyet, Nena and Kim Wilde whilst Greg is known for his covers of Adam Ant, the J Geils Band, Duran Duran and Tony Hadley.

The main show sees a number of high performance dance numbers, with a full light show and many costume changes but the couple often perform a scaled down version of 80s Mania as the 80s Reunion Disco Party and they will be appearing in three venues along the Costanext week.

They have their own specially recorded backing tracks (they aren’t karaoke artists) and will dress the part, although there won’t be as many costume changes as they would undertake in the main show.

Audiences are encouraged to dress in 80s style whilst the duo performs some 25 different numbers and they certainly hope that there will be plenty of couples making it on to the dance floor to bop along to the music.
