APASA dog shelter in Javea has organised a three-night coach trip to Madrid from October 20 – 23.
For just €275, guests can enjoy bed and breakfast accommodation at Hotel Sentaor Castellana with excursions planned daily.
APASA was founded in 1999 by a group of various nationalities, Spanish, English, German and Swiss, with the aim of rescuing those animals that were evidently abandoned, ill-treated or lost. Initially there were just a dozen dogs, now there are approximately 280, needing full time staff.
APASA rely greatly on volunteers, working in the shelter, walking dogs and at their many fund-raising events. All proceeds raised from the coach trip will directly fund the goal of making the lives of the dogs better and provide essential care for them.
