FREE SPIRITS HD held their annual summer BBQ recently – with over 50 members, family and friends gathering on what was a delightfully sunny afternoon in Javea.

The event was the first since the group announced Cancer Care Javea as their chosen charity for year 2017/ 2018 just two weeks ago and an outstanding €650 was raised – a great start toward the group’s €2,000 target.

Food, drink, dancing and even a spot of karaoke was enjoyed by all.

A raffle was held offering prizes such as a mobile phone, a sunset catamaran cruise for two and a case of six wines.

Everyone cheered as Director Barry Haylor thanked Maggie and Nigel Webb for hosting the event at their home and Peter Emmett who joined Nigel ‘on the grill’.

Thanks also went to Telitec, Catamaran Sunset Cruises, Casa de Vino and everyone who donated prizes for the raffle.

Free Spirits HD is an English-speaking Harley Davidson enthusiast group based across the Marina Alta.

Over the next twelve months Free Spirits HD aim to raise as much as possible for Cancer Care Javea and recently announced their new ‘Ride In Style’ initiative –

In return for a donation to the charity, you can join in the fun…

The group can arrange to escort you to that special event or perhaps you’d like to treat a loved one to a ride out for a day.
