THE Asociacion Benefica de Teulada recently purchased a climbing frame for the students at the CEIP Sant Vicent Ferrer school in Teulada.

Last Wednesday Marcia, Pat and Julia visited the school to present the climbing frame to the Directora.  The students were already making good use of the equipment and one or two of them were more than delighted to demonstrate their expertise.

The Asociacion Benefica de Teulada have helped many members of the community over the years – firstly helping to finance the Red Cross ambulances and equipment before purchasing two ambulances administered under the umbrella of The Proteccion Civil.

The charity has since helped Teulada-Moraira Alzheimer’s Society (AFA), again, purchasing a much-needed new vehicle and more recently, a new television.

The Asociacion Benefica de Teulada raises money from fundraising events and from their charity shop on Teulada’s Avenida Mediterraneo, just 100 metres from the Moraira roundabout.

The shop is open Monday – Friday, 10.00am – 1.00pm.

Donations are always welcome and the charity continues to sell goods on commission.
