Announcing Torrevieja´s Black Friday and Saturday

TORREVIEJA’S department of commerce and business has launched a campaign to promote the upcoming Black Friday.

Over the past few years, the municipality has joined many others across Spain and across the world in adopting what was a traditional American event that encourages shops and stores to sell things at much reduced prices ahead of the Christmas season.  For the USA, it’s always held the day after the Thursday Thanksgiving holiday.

Torrevieja Councillor Manuel Osuna, said: “We are aware that we can’t compete against the aggressive advertising campaigns of the big brands, but what we have done is to make a dedicated website available for Torrevieja business people to use.  This will be promoted throughout a campaign both on social media and the other usual outlets.”

The website will contain all the shops in Torrevieja that will have special ‘Black Friday’ offers that will be held on Friday November 24 and Saturday November 25.  Those wishing to advertise on the web page can elect whether to be part of it from the beginning of the campaign or just from November 22.

Any business interested can register by sending an e-mail to comercio@torrevieja.eu with an accompanying photo of the product or trade, a sign or logo, location, and type of business.  Further information can be obtained by calling 96 507 4310.
