Benidorm – Moving with the times

Moving with the times

IN September, Benidorm City Council processed over 20 per cent of cases electronically.

The figures were announced as part of a meeting earlier this week between the council and Lorca City Council (Murcia) as both administrations advocated the development of new technologies in public administration.

The councils discussed the implementation of various platforms and procedures and what has and hasn’t worked for them.

Of the 8,767 cases filed in Benidorm in September, the council processed 1,867 of them electronically and said doing so “helps to reduce costs and improve the service citizens receive.”
