THE Choir and Orchestra Collegium Musicum Costa Del Sol under the direction of Annemarie Philipps invites all music lovers to their annual Christmas Concerts

They are presenting a special Christmas programme which includes Handel’s Harp Concerto, music by Fauré, Telemann, Humperdinck and Britten and various international Christmas carols.

The first event takes place at 7pm on Sunday December 17 at the Hotel IPV Palace and Spa Beatriznext to the Sohail Castle in Fuengirola (on the A7 km. 206).

Tickets costing €10, €8 for over 60s and free for under 16s are available from the hotel, via or call 952 775 492 / 696 620 872.

Following the concert there will be by an optional tapas and drinks party which will cost €15 per person where guests can mingle with the musicians.

The next concert will be held in Marbella on Monday December 18 with free admission and starts at 8.30pm in the familiar and charming venue of the Iglesia de la Encarnación in the Old Town.

Charlotte Nyborg who is a special guest studied Harp & Piano at the Royal Danish Conservatoire in Copenhagen.

After graduating she played with the Danish Radio Orchestra for a year before joining the Göteborg Theatre and from 1985 to 2010 she was the Harp Soloist at the State Theatre of Saarbrücken, Germany where she also taught at the University.

Latterly Charlotte has worked in the USA, teaching at the Arizona State University and she has given solo recitals in many different countries, including Brazil, China and Japan.
