MUNICIPAL works to Oliva’s Manuel de Falla park have been completed and children and adolescents alike can now enjoy the new facilities.
The park was in desperate need of a facelift for some time and Councillor Blai Peiro was delighted to reopen it to the public earlier this week.
The wooden walkways have been replaced and the play area for children aged 0-3 has been painted, reinforced with new rubber tiles and varnished.
The play area for older children has completely changed, with new equipment and again, reinforced with new rubber tiles.
The water fountain is now back in order and the old benches have been replaced.
New bins have been distributed throughout the park and the old ones moved to the parking area.
