COMMUNITY Rotary Fellowship supports mental illness
THANK YOU: Paul and Laura present Juan and Esther with the cheque Photo credit The Rotary Fellowship Costa Blanca North

THE ROTARY FELLOWSHIP COSTA BLANCA NORTH recently donated €100 to AMADEM, a local not-for-profit association.

AMADEM stands for ‘Asociacion de Amigos de la Marina Alta de Ayuda a las personas con enfermedad mental’ (Association of Friends of the Marina Alta of Help to people with mental illness) and was founded in 1999 to support people with mental illness, in order to improve their quality of life and that of their families.

Rotary President Paul Ridge and Fellowship member Laura Hillstead presented the cheque to AMADEM psychologists Juan Carlos Lozano and Esther Escriva Mouro last week.
