LOS BOLICHES will be hosting a mindfulness course designed to help participants sleep better.

The workshop on Tuesday, November 7 will take place from 5.30pm to 8pm at EdificioColores.  Ana Mata, Councillor for Equality, explained anyone wishing to take part can register at the Department for Equality in EdificioColores.

The event, entitled “Mindfulness to live better and sleep well,” is designed to decrease anxiety, reduces stress, as well as change the structure of the brain and promote a more satisfactory sleep.  According to the council, “in the workshop, basic practices will be taught out to get rid of mental habits that lead to problems, offering the first step in learning to live a more satisfying life, achieving greater emotional balance and improving your night’s sleep.”

The free workshop will be given by Dr. Georgina Botebol, a specialist in neurophysiology, and an expert in psychodrama, cognitive therapy and mindfulness.  Places will be prioritised for those living in Fuengirola
