A RECENT nationwide survey has revealed that three Marina Alta municipalities sit in the top 50 for highest priced contents insurance in Spain.
Contents in an average home in Pedreguer are insured for €30,417, followed by Benissa at €30,328 and Teulada-Moraira at €29,991.
The contents in an average Spanish home are insured for €22,466.
Javea comes eighth of the Valencian Community, with contents in an average home insured for €28,557, whilst Els Poblets sits amongst the top 20 in the community at €26,777.
Denia barely exceeds the national average at €22,655 and El Verger (€21,839) and Calpe (€21,776) sit below it – Calpe being the lowest in the entire region.
Also above the national average is Ondara, where contents in an average home are insured for €25,765, Benitachell at €24,991 and Pego at €24,830.
