QUESADA FISH & CHIPS RESTAURANT hosted another fund raising evening, with the money raised going to buy Christmas food and treats for the needy in Rojales.

A total of €840 was raised, and was spent on Christmas food boxes, which were handed over to Lourdes Lopez Tajes, Councillor for Social Services, for distribution to families and elderly folk who are struggling over the Festive period.

Diners were entertained by the very talented and versatile Johnny Scott, who not only played for a reduced fee, but having won €100 on the football scratch card, donated his winnings to the night’s funds.

Next month’s Charity night will be on Wednesday, 24th January, with Woody, who is always a sell-out.

Tickets are available from the Restaurant; Post Room Benijofar; Card Place in Benimar and REDZ cafe bar in Quesada.  Price is just 10 euros for great food and excellent entertainment.
