AS part of the continuing initiative by the British Consulate based in Alicante, an additional series of reach-out meetings to discuss the latest news on the Brexit negotiations has been announced.

British Consul Sarah-Jane Morris will be attending meetings in the northern part of the Costa Blanca during the week beginning Monday February 19.

The talks are being hosted by the local town halls and have been specifically arranged to take place in those areas that have the highest amount of British nationals registered on the local padrón.

People don’t need to be resident in these particular municipalities to attend the events. They’re open to all British nationals who are interested in finding out a little more about how Brexit may affect them in the future. Admission to all the events is free of charge and there is no need to book or reserve a place.

Previous such meetings held along the Costa Blanca since the June 2016 Referendum have enabled the British Consul and her team to pick up wealth of information and personal concerns from residents…all of which have been fed back to London to help in the negotiation process.

The dates for Costa Blanca North are:

Tuesday February 20 at 12 noon – BENIDORM – Centro Social La Torretta, Avenida Ciudad Real, 6, Rincon de Loix.

Tuesday February 20 at 4pm – JAVEA – Casa de Cultura, Plaça De Baix.

Wednesday February 21 at 12 noon – ALFAS DEL PI – Calle del Pintxo Nº2

Wednesday February 21 at 3pm – TEULADA-MORAIRA – Edificio Espai La Senieta,

Av. de Madrid, 15.
