Man claiming to be a werewolf arrested in Estepona

A MAN has been arrested in Estepona for allegedly injuring a girl and later resisting police officers who arrived to restrain him.

According to police sources, the 24 year old man appeared to be under the influence of a narcotic substance and had barged a young woman to the ground.

The girl chipped her teeth in the fall, and needed several stitches to a wound on her chin.

The man had previously been denied entry to a nightclub for acting inappropriately, and the incident with the girl is reported to have happened about 100 metres from the premises.

When the local police arrived the alleged assailant was beside himself with aggression and tried to bite them.

He even claimed to be a werewolf and the police had to call the health services to assess him back at the station.
