Mother of missing Torremolinos man launches desperate appeal

MISSING: 32 year old Antonio Ortega ©Ortega family

THE family of the missing man in Torremolinos, Antonio Ortega, have appealed for the search to continue.

Mr Ortega, 32, left home on January 22 to walk his dog and despite the discovery of the pet two weeks later, his whereabouts remain unknown.

His mother has posted another video on social media pleading for people to pass around the photograph of Mr Ortega, to raise awareness of his case and to carry on efforts to find him.

“My son has an illness and his life is in danger. I ask anyone who can help me to spread the photo of Antonio so that someone with information might see it.”

Emergency services and hundreds of volunteers have carried out extensive searches, but no breakthrough has been made so far.

The family has recently published a different photo of Mr Ortega, which would be closer to his current appearance.

Mr Ortega has brown hair, weighs around 72 kilos, measures 1.80 metres and requires medication.

He was wearing black sweatpants, a white sweatshirt with a red hood and blue sneakers.
