3rd United Nationalities of Marbella Summit

FOR the third year running this important event, the United Nationalities of Marbella Summit will be held in Marbella but at a new venue, Velvet Marbella, Avenida Del Prado local 2, 29660 Marbella on Tuesday April 24 from 10am to 2pm.

Their last two summits really did sum it up and the organisers have clearly detected what is missing in the international community and what we, as a community, can do to resolve these issues that frequently only affect expatriates.

This year’s event is being organised in collaboration with local consuls and other community members due to the importance of the matters in hand.

Nicole King, whose brainchild this event is said “We implore school directors, presidents of charities and associations, press, restaurants, bars, clubs and discotheque owners, and anyone in a position to offer their services to our community and one another, to register for this event as Marbella community members with each other’s wellbeing in mind.

“Together there is much we can do. We are #BetterTogether.”

Registration will take place from 9.30am to 10am and then the Summit will commence with the main topics for discussion; Summary results of the last two UNMS events:

Establishment of a communication grapevine network to connect the multinational community along the Marbella 27- kilometre coastline.

Promote all year round business and local customer loyalty whilst helping your city by: Providing younger community members (13 to17 year olds) with safe and suitable hangout spaces.

Establishing which businesses are taking part in the #ZeroHero project (rewarding the designated driver).

Integration of ageing and isolated members of our community.

Establishing volunteer groups for local associations.

Integration of Malaga orphans and vulnerable children within the community once they come of age.

UNM card and cross business / charity networking.

Sadly, Georgina Shaw who has been MC for the last two events will be unable to present the meeting due to personal commitments, but no doubt Nicole will as usual be able to take things forward.

Register now for this 100 per cent interactive FREE community event.

There will also be an exclusive networking luncheon from 2.30pm to 4.30pm at Velvet Marbella for which there will be a separate charge.
