A POPULAR Benidorm blogger who’s focused on promoting the good in Costa Blanca was interviewed on Cool FM radio this week.
Speaking on Tom Kidd’s ‘The Interactive Lunch’, Lauren Bate said she noticed “that there wasn’t a lot of positivity going around” in Benidorm online and on social media, so she decided to highlight places to go and things to do in Benidorm and the surrounding areas.
“I like to keep things as upbeat as I can,” she said during the show.
Speaking to the RTN, Lauren said “there’s so much great stuff going on in Benidorm,” and that there’s “so much more than ‘the strip’”.
Lauren started her blog Diary of a Spanglish Girl in January and after becoming an admin on the popular Facebook group Benidorm & Costa Blanca Information Forum, redoubled her efforts, and now as well as writing local business reviews now even writes weekly Spanish lessons every Tuesday at 8pm.
“Going forward, I’d love for Diary of a Spanglish Girl to continue to build its followers,” she said and would also love to work with more companies “in Benidorm, Spain and further afield.”
