FISH AND FRESH: Costa del Sol restaurants to showcase local cuisine

MORE than 70 beach bars and restaurants of Torremolinos are taking part in an initiative called “Fish and Fresh” from today until Friday to showcase local cuisine.

Local eateries will be offering fish dishes for six euros, with an additional beer for a euro.

The most popular specialities will be on show, including fried anchovies, fried squid, sardines and whitebait.

Torremolinos council has organised the scheme in collaboration with the Association of Merchants and Businessmen of Torremolinos and San Miguel.

The initiative is celebrating its third year and aims to “value the professionalism, quality and uniqueness of the restaurants of Torremolinos.

A total of twelve districts in Torremolinos will be taking part in the promotion, and El Pinillo will be joining for the first time.
