DEPUTY MAYOR of San Pedro de Alcantara, Rafael Pina, together with tourism adviser, Silvia Ruiz, has announced that a free tourist bus will be launched in the town and will run from July 23 until the end of August.

Mr Pina said that the aim of the bus is “to facilitate access, both for visitors and residents, to the beach and the retail centre, negating the need for parking.”

The bus will run from 11am in the morning to 7pm in the evening, and will have a stop on the boulevard.

It will go on a route that will take in the Avenida de Mediterranean, passing through the promenade, to the Cortijo Blanco area.

The aim is to provide greater connectivity to the central shopping areas, therefore boosting the economy.
