A DATE for the diary is Thursday, November 15 (7.30pm). There will be a don’t miss concert featuring the Caprice all-ladies choir.
The last time they performed at the Ermita San Josep, Benissa, earlier this year, there wasn’t a spare seat in the house and it promises to be exactly the same again later this month.
Caprice will be returning to the Ermita to perform a new programme of music based on the theme of relationships. Under the watchful eye of musical director Aileen Lightfoot and accompanied on piano by Kirsty Glenn, the choir will perform a wide variety of songs including three part harmony versions of True Colours, Wonderful Tonight and the haunting Bring him Home from Les Miserables.
Tickets for the concert cost €10 and can be obtained from Margaret and Elena’s Book Shop in Calpe or by contacting Aileen on 696 514 613 or by email at email@example.com
The proceeds of the concert will be donated to the Costa Blanca Anglican Chaplaincy in support of their continuing work on the Costa Blanca. Details of the churches, service times and activities can be seen at www.CostaBlancaanglicanchaplaincy.org
