MARBELLA council has completed the linking of Arroyo Primero with a brand new stairway that connects Alfredo Palma with the Boulevard Pablo Raez.
Councillor for Public Works, Javier Garcia, explained that one of the objectives of the project was to “integrate a public stairway into the landscape of the boulevard so that residents can make the most of the area’s gardens, trees and urban furniture.”
Mr Garcia outlines that the works, over a plot of 1,100 sqm, have lasted three months and costed €303,000.
The project is part of the Parks and Gardens remit of the council’s General Plan of Urban Planning.
This constitutes the third phase of the wider Pablo Raez Boulevard works, that will continue with the refurbishment of the Avenida de Jose Manuel Valles and the electrical infrastructure of the area.
