Employment programme in Costa town receives €6 million in grants

COUNCILLOR for Employment in Mijas, Laura Moreno, has that announced the Andalucia Orienta employment programme is going full speed ahead.

The Junta de Andalucia’s Ministry of Employment, Business and Commerce will make available more than 130 professional advisors throughout the province, to assist those looking for work.

They will also try to help those who suffer from physical and mental disabilities, and those with behavioural problems.

The employment programme has attracted more than €6 million in grants to Malaga province, and Councillor Moreno said:

“Thanks to the Andalucia Orienta programme, we have already helped 1,461 people and provided over 7,000 hours of expert advice.

Due to the high competitiveness of the labour market, professional guidance and assistance is becoming increasingly important for those seeking employment.
