400,000 pieces of PPE (Protective Gowns) due for delivery today from Turkey have been delayed. Questions are being asked why potential UK suppliers have not been given the opportunity to provide these items.

Scientists working on a coronavirus vaccine in Britain hope to start clinical trials towards the end of next week.

Professor Sarah Gilbert, working with a coronavirus vaccine team said “scientists believed it was possible to become infected with Covid-19 more than once”

New Medical Ventilators finally approved for use in UK. Major industries including Formula 1 teams, Ford and Siemens worked with a medical firm Penlon, to create mass producible ventilator.


Spain’s Children to be “Freed” on 27th April
Spanish PM Pedro Sánchez has stated that he aims to give more freedom to children from 27th April. With more than 20,000 deaths in Spain Mr Sánchez said Spain “had left behind the most extreme moments and contained the brutal onslaught of the pandemic”.
Spanish kids have now been under strict lock down for a month.

Madrid health care workers under immense strain. With 7,000 of Spain’s 20,000 deaths, it has one of the highest death rates in European capitals.
