Sport events cannot be held even behind closed doors.
The French Prime Minister Edouard Philippe announced that the country’s sporting season is now over.
Uefa is likely to accept the decision, as prohibitive government legislation is a valid reason to cancel any league.
Previously all football was suspended in France on 13 March.
