World’s longest creature discovered

In the murky depths of the ocean, just off the Western coast of Australia, near the Ningaloo reef, scientists have discovered the world’s longest creature.

It is known as a siphonophore and is 150 feet (46 metres) long. Divers submerged down to 14,764 feet (4.5km) to make the eerie discovery and described it as “beautiful” and “UFO like”. It is a floaty, stringy creature made up of tiny zooids.
