Malaga and Granada are now into phase 1 of lockdown as of Monday, breaking three months of tight restrictions.
The Minister of Health, Salvador Illa, held a press conference earlier to break the news and to list which other provinces and cities join Spanish regions already in phase one.
Valencia, as reported by RTN earlier, is another region joining the phase one approach.
The three day wait until Monday will seem minor in comparison to the two and a half months in lockdown.
Phase one means less restrictions such as meetings between upto ten people, aswell as larger slots for excercise and walking times.
Street cafes are to open and there is talk of schools being opened.
All rules will be subject to a region by region basis.
