The next steps in Britain’s lockdown plan are beginning to emerge today, with government sources indicating that garden centres will reopen, commuters will be encouraged to use bicycles and potentially foreign visitors will be quarantined. A report has suggested that those visiting the country will have to fill out a digital form and provide an address which that person will then have to self isolate at for a period of 2 weeks. Anyone found flouting the law could face a fine of £1000 and even be deported if spot checks later find they have not adhered to the rules. The new law could be in force by the end of June the report claimed.
Boris Johnson will be addressing the nation tomorrow (Sunday) with the new plans.
