Police in Wales stopped a family of 11, travelling in three cars, after they had made an “unbelievable” 120 mile journey during the corona virus lockdown. They intercepted the family on Sunday, who had made the two and a half hour trip from Manchester, England to Anglesey in Wales.
The family had spent the day at the South Slack coastal beauty spot. Mark Owen, Chief Officer for the North Wales Special Police Constabulary said that the group were from one family but in three different cars, who thought it would be a good idea to have a day out. He went on to say that each person was prosecuted under COVID-19 legislation.
