Spain – Protests with saucepans from balconies against the Government
Calle Nunez de Balbao remained the epicentre of the protests in one of the wealthiest neighbourhoods in the capital. Many residents once again came out wrapped in flags of Spain, pots in hand, to show their discontent towards the mismanagement of the pandemic by the Socialist Government. Additionally, on the Havana promenade, near the Santiago Bernabau stadium, almost 500 people have gathered.

France – Significant improvement in air quality during lockdown
Ineris, the French Institute of the industrial environment and risks, said on Monday that containment has led to a sharp drop in air pollution. Nitrogen dioxide (NO2) concentration reduced by an average of 49 percent, and fine particles (PM10 and PM2.5) reduced by 10 to 12 percent.
