For those bars that wish to reopen on May 11th with the de-escalation regulations, the City Council is advising plans are sent to them so that they can collaborate together to maximise the potential of each individual locals terraces.
“we want to facilitate the return to activity to those establishments that decide to reopen their doors in that first phase, making the layout of the terraces more flexible and guaranteeing at the same time that this distribution complies with the safety distances indicated by the health authorities ”
“We are going to request the establishments that take advantage of this first phase of de-escalation to send to the City Council a proposal for the arrangement of tables and chairs on their terraces based on the permitted capacity. This proposal will be studied by a technical team, and also discussed with the neighborhood associations of each of the areas, to ensure that the proposed provision does not generate problems in the event that it implies any change on the original distribution or space it occupied.”
Mr Perez reiterated that this is to find “temporary solutions that allow establishments to get the most out of the capacities”
Proposals can be sent to email@example.com and for clarification of any dates and conditions call 900 701 322 and 900 10 12 15.
Free disinfection of terraces, toldos and frontages of premises that have been closed is available on request.
