A 29 year old woman will appear in court on Thursday charged with the murder of 88 year old church warden John Rees. It is alleged that he was attacked and stabbed in a Co-Op store in the Rhonda Valley, South Wales, on Tuesday.
South Wales police said that 29 year old Zara Anne Radcliffe, from Porth, is also accused on three counts of attempted murder on other people who were also hurt in the incident. Flowers have been left as tribute outside the store and All Saints church where he was warden. One tribute said that “our hearts go out to John and his lovely wife Eunice. Such a lovely man and a sad, sad loss”.
