After a 10 year hunt for a chest containing $1 million (£790,000) worth of gold and jewels, it has finally been discovered in the Rocky Mountains (USA). Art dealer Forrest Fenn published his autobiography, “The Thrill of the Chase”,back in 2010 which was laden with clues on where he had buried the bronze chest. At least four people have known to have died searching for it in the American West. Hundreds of thousands more quit their jobs or used up their life savings to join in the hunt. On Sunday Mr Fenn announced that the treasure chest had been found, but refused to give away it’s exact location. He went on to add that the finder had sent him photographic proof of the discovery. Asked how he felt now the treasure had been found he said “I feel half happy and half sad, now that the chase is over”.
